Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AT Tłumaczenia Monika Rupala-Cycoń ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of SmartVisitUK.com, handles personal data. We built this website to be as privacy-friendly as possible: it has no contact form, no user accounts and no database — the only personal data we ever receive is what you choose to send us directly by phone or email.

1. Data Controller

The data controller responsible for any personal data you share with us is:
AT Tłumaczenia Monika Rupala-Cycoń
NIP: 6442437079  |  REGON: 363195979
ul. Aleksandra Zająca 6, 40-749 Katowice, Poland
Email: monika@smartvisituk.com

2. What Data We Collect

Because this website does not include a contact form, booking system or user account area, we do not automatically collect personal data through the site itself. The only personal data we hold is what you choose to give us when you contact us directly:

  • By email — your name, email address and any details you include in your message (e.g. your travel dates or tour preferences).
  • By phone — your name and phone number, and any details you share with us verbally to plan your trip.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and site-performance purposes. This information is not used to personally identify visitors.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the personal data you send us solely to:

  • Respond to your enquiry about our tours;
  • Prepare and manage a tour booking you have agreed with us;
  • Communicate with you before, during and after your trip; and
  • Meet our own legal, accounting and tax obligations.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (when you voluntarily contact us), the steps necessary to enter into and perform a travel contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running a responsive, professional travel agency.

5. Cookies

This website may use a small number of essential and analytics cookies to help pages function correctly and to help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it. These do not identify you personally. You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; blocking cookies will not prevent you from browsing this website.

6. Data Retention

We keep enquiry and booking-related correspondence only for as long as necessary to handle your trip and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

7. Your Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate data;
  • Request erasure of your data, where applicable;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing; and
  • Lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO) if you believe your data has been mishandled.

To exercise any of these rights, simply email us at monika@smartvisituk.com.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect any personal data you share with us against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The version published on this page is always the current one.

10. Contact Us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, please contact us at monika@smartvisituk.com or via our Contact page.
